In a psychiatric clinic, there is a special ward dedicated to patients suffering from delusions of grandeur, believing themselves to be famous military leaders. The tranquillity of this ward is suddenly shattered when a provocative nurse makes her entrance. Her presence immediately arouses the lively interest of all the patients, who see themselves as great generals, and also of the clinic's fiery director.
The young nurse, despite the incessant advances of the patients and the director, maintains her calm and composure. But behind her nurse's smock lurks a secret: in reality, she is an aspiring singer who has infiltrated the clinic in a disguise to retrieve some valuable paintings that have been stolen. In order to maintain her cover, she is forced to comply with all the patients' requests and extravagant behaviour while trying to recover the stolen objects without arousing suspicion.
